Motorcycle hazard perception practice
Motorcyclists need to notice surface changes, sight-line obstructions and other road users who may not have seen them.
Describe what can develop during the next few seconds. A parked van may hide a pedestrian; a shiny patch may reduce grip; a driver waiting at a junction may move despite looking towards you.
Do not click because a road scene looks busy. Practise identifying the moment a potential hazard begins to require action. Review clips by explaining the visual cue and the margin your response creates.
The official theory test includes a hazard-perception video test .
